She holds a PhD in Arts from the University of Antioquia (Colombia), awarded with the distinction Summa Cum Laude, and a Master’s degree in Music Theory from EAFIT University (Colombia). She completed her professional training as a violinist at the Higher Institute of Arts (Instituto Superior de Arte, ISA) in Havana, Cuba.
contributing to its dissemination through national premieres, world premieres, and commercial recordings in both solo and chamber music settings. She is actively involved in artistic initiatives that incorporate sonic experimentation and improvisation from interdisciplinary perspectives. Her academic interests include the theoretical study of listening, musical indeterminacy, and the exploration of conceptual approaches inspired by quantum physics.

In 2020, she was awarded the Music Creation Grant for Independent Projects by the Pereira Municipal Cultural Incentives Program for her project Pearl in Present: Solo Violin Repertoire by Composers from the City of Pereira.
She serves as a guest researcher at the Núcleo Amazônico de Pesquisa Musical (NAP) in Brazil. Since 2025, she has been a member of the Network of Teachers and Researchers in Music Theory, Analysis, and Pedagogy at the University of La Serena (Chile). She is currently affiliated with the Music Program at the University of Cundinamarca (Colombia). She holds the rank of Associate Researcher recognized by the Colombian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MinCiencias) and serves as a peer reviewer in the fields of Music and Musicology.
